Segment of Rock Springs Road to be closed for sewer installation
Six weeks to install a sewer line for such a short distance seems to me a long time. Homeowners may find it more convenient to do their shopping in Johnson City during this closure.
Rock Springs Road from West Valley Drive to Snapps Ferry Rd will be closed to through traffic beginning on Wednesday, June 17 and lasting approximately six weeks for sewer line installation. While local traffic will be allowed through, all other motorists are asked to use alternate routes as marked to avoid the construction. Detours include Cox Hollow Road or West Valley Road to Bishop Road to East Campground Road and back onto Rock Springs.
